Telling the Earth How John's Revelation of Jesus Uncovered the Lamb of God in Daniel 8:14's Temple on October 22, 1844
words from his throne
Welcome! After our years-long Bible study became absorbed with the topic of 1844, a biblical answer showed up for us after carefully utilizing the historicist method and year-day principle to find the truth about 1844
1844
we asked the bible...
Question: Is it possible that Daniel and Revelation created a secret book with Daniel 8:14's specific words? If so, Could the words of this book be used to uncover Christ in 1844's sanctuary to prepare the world for His return?
...the bible responded
Answer: Yes and Yes! The charts below outline Christ's Daniel and Revelation signified "words...of this book" of Revelation 22:6-10 from an SDA historicist perspective. Start with #1 thru #3 just below (click slides for pdf):
1. First, if you're a non-Adventist newcomer, welcome. Second, Revelation's Seven Parallels in the above chart won't make much sense at first. No worries. There's a summary under the plus button. Check it out. This landing page is the result of a six-year Bible study for non-Adventists. We've just recently made our study available to the public. So we're glad you found us! Slide No. 2 under the plus button portrays Daniel 2:45's "cut out" mountain stone as God's stone throne and His 24 elder thrones that set up His kingdom for 1844's heavenly judgment. In Slide No. 3 you'll discover Revelation, starting with John's prologue and epilogue, picks up Daniel's 1844 theme
Revelation 19:22 ChartParallel 1: The Prophecy’s Inception and Celestial Storyline (Rev 1:1–2 ↔ Rev 22:6)
- The Text: In the chain of divine transmission the Father gives The Revelation of Jesus to His Son, Christ to His angel, His angel to John, who then bore witness to the word of God through the testimony of Jesus, which is from the spirit of the prophecy of Revelation 19:10 (YLT).
- The Historicist Exposition: Revelation 22:6 introduces this chain with the declaration: “These words are faithful and true” (pistos and alēthinos), which are specific descriptors matching the Greek version of Daniel 2:45 and its true and faithful (alethinos and pistos) prophecy, whose words are to be kept secret: “And he said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for these words will be kept secret and sealed up until the end time'” (Daniel 12:9 NASB). Christ’s Daniel 8:14 words making up His 2,300-year prophecy are first “sealed up” and are only uncovered after “the end time” in the Revelation of Jesus (1:1). These prophetic words are: “For two thousand three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.” Parallel 1 officially initiates the Antitypical Day of Atonement on October 22, 1844, by opening Daniel’s long-sealed secret or signified book of Daniel 12:4, whose “words are faithful and true” in Revelation 22:6, not unlike Daniel 2:45’s cut-out stone that will also prove to be “faithful” and “true” (WYC), as a correlating historical event in God’s apocalyptic schema.
- The Text: Both verses essentially pronounce an identical beatitude: Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book. God’s divine blessing for those who hear, read or keep Daniel 8:14’s words is perfectly congruent, symmetrical addition to Parallel 1 and its eschatological features.
- The Historicist Exposition: Prophetic light demands human response. By placing this blessing at both ends of The Revelation of Jesus, the text categorically emphasizes the unsealing of Christ within 1844’s sanctuary. And it’s an unveiling of Jesus Himself based on Daniel 8:14’s time prophecy in Parallel 2’s words of this book (Daniel 12:4,9). This is not an academic exercise, to be sure; it requires a living faith. On the Day of Atonement, the congregation of Israel had to “afflict their souls” while the High Priest performed the OT’s sin-cleansing ritual through the blood of the pre-figured Lamb of God (Leviticus 16). Parallel 2’s Old Testament blessing upon the Bible’s Antitypical Day of Atonement within the New Testament church living during 1844’s Investigative Judgment, can only be highlighting the immense peace, joy and gratitude that must have overwhelmed the wilderness church when their sins were blotted out, per God’s plan of salvation.
- The Text: The linguistic pairing of John as a servant-prophet sending greetings to the churches matches the angel’s declaration to John in the epilogue: “I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets.”
- The Historicist Exposition: This establishes the structural authority of the prophetic voice by the One “who is to come” for the threefold Revelation of Jesus beginning on October 22, 1844. Heaven’s intent for The Revealed Lamb of God who takes away our sins is impeccably outlined throughout John’s Seven Parallels, each encompassing Scripture’s sanctuary motif as laid out in the book of Leviticus and beyond. The same Spirit of Prophecy that guided the ancient prophets to the typical Day of Atonement service is the very instrument used to guide the church through the tumultuous modern eras of church history, when every demonic force in the universe would seek to cover heaven’s only plan of redemption, as witnessed during the Dark Ages. The Spirit of the Prophecy of 1844 successfully bridges the gap between every visionary messenger of God and the corporate historic body awaiting the consummation of world history at Christ’s Second Coming. This divine pattern of communication by the Holy Spirit to frail humans must include earth’s modern-day prophet Ellen G. White. Her body of work stems from the identical prophetic words in the secret book of Daniel 12:4 and 9 that culminate in Revelation 10’s unsealed book in Christ’s hand with Daniel 8:14’s 2,300-year prophecy, whose prophetic words were first delivered to 1844’s two prophets Daniel and John.
- The Text: Christ is introduced as the “faithful witness” who “washed us from our sins in His own blood,” which directly parallels the command: “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.”
- The Historicist Exposition: In Event 1 of the three phases of the Revelation of Jesus, the Spirit of the Prophecy has unsealed Daniel 8:14’s words of the prophecy for October 22, 1844, because the time is at hand for the Faithful and True Witness of Revelation 3:14 to at last wash away or remove our sins in His own blood. Which is why to add to and take away from the divine message of the Lamb’s blood, to be applied during the Antitypical Day of Atonement to blot out our sins, receives the dire warnings of Revelation 22:18-19. Changing the Faithful and True Witness’s faithful (pistos) and true (alethinos) “words” of Revelation 22:6, and inserting them into a new hermeneutical construct outside of the historicist framework already implemented in John’s Seven Parallels, is to incur God’s plaguing wrath. This wrath is derived from 1844’s historicist “temple (naos),” or heaven’s Most Holy Place, that also contains the Book of Life determining Man’s fate (Rev 15:8). Parallel 4 becomes the pivot point of John’s entire structure. Why? Because Parallel 1 is recapitulated, or repeated and enlarged, in Parallel 4, leaving no doubt as to God’s timely truth about The Revelation of Jesus in heaven’s 1844 sanctuary. The washing “from our sins” in Revelation 1:5 is the exact New Testament equivalent to the “cleansing of the sanctuary” in Daniel 8:14. History has therefore already arrived to the Antitypical Day of Atonement, and the sanctuary work for the sins of humanity is now actively operational. We are assured no power in heaven or earth ever thwarts the Lamb’s marriage of Revelation 19 and 22 (chart).
- The Text: The declaration that Christ “has made us kings and priests to His God and Father” contextually links to God’s final judicial decrees for Eden’s two seeds of Genesis 3:5, who had first received the Lamb’s protoevangelium: “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”
- The Historicist Exposition: Parallel 5 represents Event 2 in the three-event eschatological sequence in 1844’s Revelation of Jesus Christ: when judgment opens, when judgment closes, and when Christ comes. Once the diagnostic inspection of each character has compared every created human who has ever lived to God’s Holy Law beneath Christ’s mercy-seat (God mercifully winking at Man’s ignorance along the way, per Acts 17:30, before “He will judge the world in righteousness”) — whose Ten Words were seen when 1844’s “temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple” (Rev 11:19) — the Investigative Judgment is completed. And the Lamb’s sanctuary ministry ends with heaven’s finished atonement because heaven’s High Priest ceases His mediation. That is, the eternal destiny of the washed and filthy is irrevocably locked in. Those who were made “kings and priests” through the cleansing blood of Jesus are now permanently sealed for the kingdom. In short, God’s preadvent judgment is officially closed because the washed are permanently clean while the unwashed are forever filthy. And both now simply await the celestial Farmer’s sickle, when “the harvest of the earth is ripe” with holy saints and the unholy “clusters of the vine of the earth…are fully ripe” with the wicked, the latter thrown into “the great winepress of the wrath of God” (Rev 14:15-19).
- The Text: “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him” functions as the exact duplicate of Christ’s epilogue oath: “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”
- “The Historicist Exposition: This is Event 3 in history’s linear sequence . The close of judgment (Parallel 5) immediately triggers the seven plagues and then the physical return of Christ. Because the Investigative Judgment has already verified the worthiness of the saints, Christ doesn’t come to judge; He comes to distribute the rewards already decided in the heavenly court, which is when “the judgment was set, and the books were opened” (Dan 7:10 KJV) . The continuous historicist corridor of time terminates in the literal, visible Second Advent of Jesus Christ. Just as was predicted in Daniel and Revelation Seven Parallels and specifically the fourth, fifth and sixth parallels, or When Judgment Opens, When Judgment Closes, and When Christ Comes. “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” says the Lord of hosts, that will leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. 3 You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the Lord of hosts. 4 Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel…5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord” (Malachi 4:1-5).
- The Text: A word-for-word, absolute match where the Almighty declares: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
- The Historicist Exposition: This final parallel serves as the immutable divine seal of God based on the most important prophecy in world history because of what it represents in heaven and on earth: Daniel 8:14’s 2,300-year prophecy leading to 1844’s Revelation of Jesus and eschatological mission of the Seventh Church of Bible prophecy, known as “the church of the Laodiceans” (Rev 3:14). By placing this exact phrase at the tail-end of the prologue and the front-end of the epilogue, Laodicea’s 1844 “True and Faithful Witness” (Rev 3:14) signs the entire prophetic canvas gifted to humanity through the books of Daniel and Revelation. The Alpha and Omega proves that the same sovereign Deity who engineered the rise and fall of nations along Scripture’s year-day timeline and its historicist methodology is the One, branded the Lamb of God, who alone guarantees the preservation of His people through earth’s final crisis in the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6-12.
2. Given Slide No. 2's "conclusion" regarding 1844, you'll want to study Slide No. 4 at the end of this frontpage to actually understand how the 2,300-year prophecy reveals 1844's Jesus based on the principle of Sola Scriptura.

objective
To publish and distribute The Secret Book (with study tools) in exalting the Lamb of God in 1844's Day of Atonement sanctuary — where "Jesus Christ...loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood" (Rev 1:5)
1. Christ, as the Bible’s old-covenant Living Gospel, had shown Moses in Exodus 25 His Day of Atonement (DOA) furnishings for God's typical sanctuary cleansing to teach its rituals to His OT Church:
“And the Lord said to Moses…I [Christ] will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat…Then he [Aaron] shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood inside the veil…and sprinkle it on the mercy seat …because of their transgressions, for all their sins…For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord” (Lev 16:2,15-16,30)
2. Christ, as the Bible’s new-covenant Living Gospel, had numbered heaven's 1844 antitypical DOA cleansing to specially teach history's 7th and final NT “church of the Laodiceans” (Rev 3:14-21):
“I heard one holy one speaking; one holy one said to the one [Palmoni] who was speaking, ‘Until when is the vision of…the giving over of both the sanctuary and of the host to be trampled?’ And he [Palmoni-Christ] said to me: ‘Until two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings—then the sanctuary will be made right‘” (Dan 8:13-14 BLB). NKJV has “cleansed” (Gr. katharizo)
3. Christ, as the Bible’s new-covenant Living Gospel, had revealed to John His Oct 22, 1844, Danielic cleansing of the NT antitypical sanctuary, as (1) typified in Leviticus, (2) prophesied by Daniel, and (3) signified to John by Christ and His angel Gabriel for you and I:
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servant—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John…and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness…To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings…to Him be glory…forever” (Rev 1:1,5-6)
words from his throne
Never a better time to become a historicist!
The opening of the Apocalypse structurally mirrors the Greek translation of Daniel’s book in more than one way. When John begins his prologue in Revelation 1:1 and says Jesus “signified” (sēmainō) the upcoming event by His angel, John is echoing the traditions preserved in Daniel 2:45’s Old Greek language (LXX), where Christ had “signified” (sēmainō) to the king what must take place in the future after heaven’s time-sequenced stone was cut out (2:44-45). By using this exact verb, John is informing us that Revelation 1:3’s apocalyptic “prophecy,” just like God’s stone prophecy, is to be delivered through signs linked together by heaven’s interpretive lens capturing a single prophesied historical revelation whose sign-i-fied, or symbolic, “time is near” (Rev 1:3).
To ensure interpretive precision, the Spirit’s eschatological lens locks into place in the very first sentence commencing John’s epilogue. In Revelation 22:6, the angel declares that these words are “faithful” (pistos) and “true” (alēthinos). Then, in between the Lamb’s “bride” of verses 2 and 9, heaven secures this Danielic anchor in Revelation 21:5-6, where He who sat upon a throne commands, “Write, for these words are true (alēthinos) and faithful (pistos)” — followed by the Lamb’s cry for His Bride in verse 6: “It is done! I am the Alpha and Omega!” Revelation 21:5’s sequence preserves the order in Theodotion’s (LXX) rendering of Daniel 2:45 — affirming The Revealer of Secrets’s true (alēthinon) and faithful (piste) interpretation…through John.
Consequently, pairing Revelation 1:1 with Daniel 2:45 provides a critical textual anchor for the historicist method of interpretation. A method that demonstrates how God’s deliberate hermeneutical platform connects two symbiotic books that operate within the identical apocalyptic framework.
